CURATOR'S OFFICE

RESEARCH
CENTRE
Buster Chad Valley Tri-ang Ubilda

Here the current research projects being undertaken by the Curator and others will be explained.  Progress, where there is any,  will be reported.  Also, perhaps more importantly, problems, uncertainties and other barriers to progress will be exposed in the hope that a visitor to the museum will be able to provide some insight, data or analysis which will provide a breakthrough.

Three projects are currently of interest.  Please feel free look at any which interest you by clicking on the relevant link below.

RESEARCH PROJECT No 1
Exploration of the numbering system of Moritz Gottschalk and how it developed over time
RESEARCH PROJECT No 2
The history of toy fort and castle manufacturing from the beginning
RESEARCH PROJECT No 3
Tri-ang and other trade marks used by Lines Bros Ltd on their toy forts

If you feel you can make any contribution to any of these projects, however insignificant it might appear, the Curator would be very grateful if you could let him know.  To do so please go to the research project by clicking on the relevant link above.
